Outdoor Shade · Fabric Replacement

Refresh the fabric. Preserve the system where it makes sense.

Faded, worn or damaged fabric does not always require replacing the full awning. Pergo Systems can review selected fixed and retractable awnings and screens to determine whether the existing frame, arms, roller, hardware and controls are suitable for new fabric.

Condition first, fabric second

Compatibility and safety depend on the condition of the complete system. A site review comes before promising a recover.

  • Frame, fastener and mounting condition
  • Arms, roller tube and spring or motor operation
  • Existing fabric dimensions and attachment method
  • Signs of corrosion, impact or structural movement
  • Current product identification where available

A visible design refresh

When the system is a suitable candidate, new fabric can update color, pattern, light transmission and curb appeal while retaining serviceable components.

  • Fixed awning recovering
  • Retractable awning fabric replacement
  • Selected exterior screen fabric replacement
  • Color and pattern review
  • Seams, valance and edge details

Not every existing system can be recovered.

If components are unsafe, obsolete, damaged or incompatible, the consultation will identify replacement or repair alternatives instead of forcing fabric onto an unsuitable system.
